  • ELLIS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: CAMPUS MODERNIZATION - 

    COMPLETION TARGET AUGUST 2024

    During these two months, the construction trades are focused on finishing up building C and getting it ready for occupancy.   Solar panels, kinder and tk playgrounds, shade structures, sprinklers, HVAC tuning, lighting, low voltage systems, and kitchen equipment.

    During this month, the construction trades are focused on roofing, setting HVAC units, window systems, sprinklers, stucco, hanging drywall, pulling electrical wiring, and start of grading for courtyards around the new Multiuse.

    During this month, the construction trades are focused on roofing, metal stud framing, sprinklers, rough plumbing, rough electrical, waterproofing, and installtion of insulation and metal lath in preparation for stucco.

    During this month, the construction trades are focused on roofing, sprinklers, exterior cladding, rough plumbing, rough electrical, and metal stud framing at the interior of the building.

    During this month, the construction trades are focused on steel erection/welding, concrete forming around the stage, rough plumbing, rough electrical, and metal stud framing at the exterior of the building.

    • CONTINUE TO PLAN FOR EXPANDING OUR UNIVERSAL TK INITIATIVE
    • PROVIDE AN AGE-APPROPRIATE, SAFE, AND EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR TK/K STUDENTS
    • CREATE A CHEERFUL EARLY CHILDHOOD FACILITY
    • ADDED SHADE STRUCTURES, PLAY TURF, ADDITIONAL SEATING, INCLUSIVE TACTILE PLAY STRUCTURES

  • HVAC REPLACEMENT AT VARGAS ES, SAN MIGUEL ES, AND FAIRWOOD ES

     

    • COMPLETED SUMMER 2023
    • REPLACE OUTDATED HVAC UNITS AND ROOFING THAT ARE AT OR NEAR THE END OF LIFE CYCLE.  MORE EFFICIENT UNITS, AND TOTAL CONVERSION TO ELECTRIC HVAC UNITS AT VARGAS
    • AS PART OF THE DISTRICT INITIATIVE TO BE MORE SUSTAINABLE , VARGAS ES HVAC WAS TRANSITIONED FROM NATURAL GAS TO ALL ELECTRIC
