San Miguel and Sunnyvale Middle students planted new Valley Oak trees with the help of the city and Sunnyvale Urban Forest Advocates
The ongoing series of free after school STEM workshops have covered engineering, circuit design, wearable technology, electrical systems and animation.
The Every Student Succeeding program's purpose is to recognize students at all grade levels who have achieved success in the face of difficult challenges, which may be related to school, family, medical, or difference in ability and the educators who supported them along the way.
The club competed against 24 other teams in the Regional Science Bowl, a highly competitive science education and academic event among teams of middle school students who compete in a fast-paced verbal forum to solve technical problems and answer questions in all branches of science and math.
Sunnyvale School District is proud to announce that San Miguel Elementary is a winner of the 2017 Glenn W. Hoffmann Awards!
Civility creates a safe environment in which the most impassioned debates can occur, leading to deeper understanding and tolerance even when disagreement lingers. Civility builds relationships, and relationships can lead us to solutions that we could never reach in isolation.
We pledge not only to protect personal information but to do our best to ensure that all children and families in our district are treated with respect, dignity and given every opportunity to achieve.
On behalf of our 6,800 students, 700 dedicated employees, and Board of Education, I want to thank you for your continued support of our teachers, staff, and the work taking place in our schools every day
