Attendance
Parents, students, and staff want a great school, and we all strive to do our best. Student attendance is a key factor in the success of us all. In fact, it is one of the most important factors.
Under California law, students are required to attend school. When students are absent, teachers must use the precious time when students return to provide ways for them to catch up. When students miss valuable instruction time, they always fall behind.
We monitor daily student attendance very closely. If your child is absent from school, please call 408-523-4870 and let us know the reason. There are only two excusable reasons for student absence: illness or death of a family member. All vacations and doctor's appointments should be made outside of the school day and during scheduled school vacations if possible.
