I am excited and grateful to join the Lakewood family as the Assistant Principal. My educational career began eleven years ago. I served as a science teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. My passion for science, technology, and mathematics led to my pursuing a Masters degree in STEM education.  

I am eager to support Lakewood’s climate and culture and professional development for teachers. Collectively, we will create a supportive and safe environment for all students to thrive. My goal is to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to learn and grow into a well-rounded individual. It is important for me that families feel welcomed and encouraged to be part of each child’s educational experience.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and am currently living in Hayward with my wife, Rosalia, and two children, Gerson (6 yo) and Gianna (2 yo). In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and nature, barbequing, watching sports, and spending time with my family.
