It takes more than good curriculum to ensure that today’s students are prepared for the 21st century workforce. It also takes a mindset of high expectations for all students and staff, as well as the resources and ability to evaluate and select the best combination of instructional methods for students at every school.

That’s why in the Sunnyvale School District we continually assess student progress, and teachers and administrators actively refine and shape lessons and activities based on their results. We also leverage our time-tested, successful teaching practices with the most promising, evidence-based innovations, and partner with nonprofit organizations, local universities, nearby businesses, parents and community members to ensure we can deliver the best possible instruction to every student.
